Founded on July 2, 2014 in Butembo, Democratic Republic of Congo, the Academia RDC Group, through its Vocational Training and Youth Empowerment Center (CAMEJ), was born out of a vision inspired by a real-life experience of its Founder, Mr. KAKULE VUTSAPU Michael, then a student in Psychology and Educational Sciences.

During his final academic research on the “Etiology of children in family breakdown situations in the city of Butembo,” he was deeply moved when he succeeded in reuniting a 14-year-old boy with his family after two years of separation. This transformative experience became the foundation of his ambition to establish a youth development structure focused on social reintegration, education, and entrepreneurship.

Today, the Academia RDC Group is a legally recognized organization, registered under F92 No. JUST/SG/20/1195/2022/F.92/46.861 with the Ministry of Justice. It is committed to the empowerment, training, and support of vulnerable youth, including out-of-school children, unemployed young people, war-displaced individuals, former combatants, abandoned orphans, and household heads. The organization promotes transformational leadership, sustainable community development, and lasting peace.

C.A.M.E.J NGO provides training in various fields such as carpentry, beekeeping, tailoring, languages, and leadership, as well as specialized services in floriculture, agricultural consultancy, agroecology, and sustainable livestock farming. Through its diverse programs, it prepares Congolese youth to actively contribute to the country’s development and emerging future.
