Through our strategic fundraising efforts, we aim to secure the resources needed to amplify the collective voice of Africa’s IPLCs. Our research strategy is designed to generate evidence-based insights that guide our advocacy efforts. We value our partnerships with conservation organizations, governments, and other stakeholders, and have established engagement guidelines to ensure these relationships are mutually beneficial. By coordinating our efforts, we avoid overlaps and competition, ensuring maximum impact for every resource we invest. AICA is committed to advancing its advocacy role and actively engages with key constituencies such as governments, sub-regional and regional bodies, and international mechanisms.
